This plant was built by the United States Government during the Word War at a cost of over ten million dollars to supply armor plate for our navy. Nearby is one of the largest Indian mounds in the State.
South Charleston, MacCorkle Ave. (US 60W), 1.4 miles west of Exit 56 (Montrose) and 0.6 miles east of Exit 54 of I-64. Kanawha County West Virginia.
