Mount Pleasant Methodist Church was organized in 1788 1.8 miles north of here in McGehee's barn. The first meeting house stood near this spot in 1798. The present church was built in 1856 on land given by George Washington Redd, Sr., after the first church was burned.
US 15 (northbound), north of Keysville, at Rt. 633. Charlotte County Virginia.
