Eleven mayors of Greeneville resided in the 100 block of McKee Street while serving in office. At interval periods between the years of 1873 and 1972, the following individuals served: Robert M. McKee, N. T. Howard, Tom T. Adams, H. E. Holland, John S. Bernard (2 separate terms), J. Ross Reed, Earl Smith (2-separate terms) and James N. Hardin (2 separate terms).
