Moving north from Trenton with his entire brigade, Forrest captured two companies of Federals here and destroyed stores. His command spent the next two days tearing up 15 miles of track and destroying trestles in the Obion River bottoms. Detachments captured other points along the railroad, with their garrisons and stores.
