Among them were N.C. Mutual Life Insurance Co. (moved to Parrish 1906)(, led by John Merrick, Dr. Aaron Moore, & C.C. Spaulding, and Mechanics and Farmers Bank (1907), led by R.B. Fitzgerald and W.G.
