[Erected near the southwest corner of the court house, St. Charles, MO. Unveiled with great ceremonies on Thursday, November 11, 1920. A great patriotic demonstration was staged. Monument has been moved to the west entrance to the old courthouse. Names of the 47 young men carved on the four side of the statue.]
