Description of Statue:
A Federal soldier, dressed in a military uniform that includes a knee-length coat and brimmed cap, stands at parade rest holding the barrel of a rifle with both hands. The butt of the rifle rests at his feet. The figure is placed atop a tall inscribed tiered base. G.A.R., Erected by James F. How Post 567 and Woman's Relief Corps No. 50; 1902. E. Rollins St., Oaklawn Cemetery, Moberly, Randolph County Missouri
