1914- 1962 Ilasco Grade School
1917- 1942 Slovak Luthern School
1926- 1935 Stillwell Addition Grade School
1926- 1959 Ilasco High School
The Romainian Hall, Ilasco Baptist Mission Church and Urkrainian Orthodox Church basement were also used for public schools in different years during the early 1900's.
In recognition of the hardships and sacrifices of the residents of Ilasco, this monument has been erected in their honor by their descendants.
