Upper line is the flood level for the 1993 flood.
the lower level is the flood level for the 1973 flood.
This marker is a good way to compare the floods. The 1993 flood was called "the 100 years flood".
Look at this marker on top of a wall and the distance to the water level of the Mississippi today. Compare car with boat and trailer to judge distance.
