1986Restored by the DAR and VFW Post 2025 in honor of the men and women who made the supreme sacrifice in defense of our great Republic in a time of peril.

In APPRECIATION of the PATRIOTIC LOYALTY of the men from Phelps County who offered their lives in humanity's defense in the Great War of the Nations 1914- 1918. Erected 1923, by the Loyal People of Phelps Co., under the Supervision of the Noah Coleman Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. The restoration of this Memorial has been completed by the generosity and remembrance of Albert Johns and in part by the V.F.W. Post 2025 and the American Legion Post 270 of Rolla, 1995.
