Erected 1923, by the Loyal People of Phelps Co., under the Supervision of the Noah Coleman Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. The restoration of this Memorial has been completed by the generosity and remembrance of Albert Johns and in part by the V.F.W. Post 2025 and the American Legion Post 270 of Rolla, 1995.
