Born April 8, 1782 Died June 25, 1841. He served his country for a period of more than forty years.
In Memory of Commodore Thomas MacDonough, U.S.N. The Hero of Lake Champlain September 11, 1814.
Born December 23, 1786 Died November 10, 1825. "The Almighty has been pleased to grant us a sign of Victory on a Lake Champlain in the capture of one frigate, one brig, and two sloops of war of the enemy."
